Zusammenfassung:On a higher educational level, diversification and inclusiveness invade and alter the literary curriculum. Ideological determination of standards and merit inevitably denigrates Western culture and specifically its "English-speaking contingent." Thus, the humanistic education and thought are rapidly losing ground, as abstract theory and dogma undermine European intellectual foundations and literary traditions, particularly threatening the survival of the English language.
