In Memoriam Burns H. Weston (1933-2015)

In this respect, his interests, expertise, and scholarship in international claims law, 1 human rights law,2 environmental law,3 nuclear disarmament,4 and global governance6 in particular were surpassing in their consistent excellence. Upon his return to Iowa in 1978, through his urging and promotion of international law and human rights law, Iowa students organized a new International Law Society within the law school, which grew to over 100 students.
