Zusammenfassung: | Discordance between decisional-role preference and actual decisional-role has been associated with PTSD and depression in bereaved family members but less is known about the process and consequences of surrogate decision-making for patients who survive critical illness. Associations between decisional-roles and psychological symptoms were examined with multivariable regression models clustered by patient and adjusted for family sex, age, education, and legal next-of-kin status. |
