Zusammenfassung:Inclusion Criteria: * ICD-9 codes for pneumonia, respiratory failure or sepsis * Radiographic evidence of pneumonia Exclusion Criteria: * Immunocompromised conditions * Subsequent episodes of pneumonia within 12 months * Missing data for CURB-65 and IMRS * ED death We collected the first-measured components of CURB-65 and IMRS. IMRS includes blood cell count, hematocrit, platelet count, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration, red cell distribution width, mean platelet volume, sodium, potassium, bicarbonate, calcium, glucose, creatinine, age, and sex. 30-day observed mortality was determined for CURB-65 score 0-1, and 2-5 after which IMRS was applied to look for additional divisions of risk.
