Zusammenfassung:The principles which guide the law of corporate criminal liability also called entity liability which developed as a legal system to overcome the problem of assigning criminal blame to fictional entities based on the moral accountability of individuals, is presented. The three elements required for corporate criminal liability include employee acts within the scope of employment, employee acted to benefit the corporation and issues of men rea based in the context of corporate criminal prosecutions.
