Zusammenfassung:Mixed convection within a shallow rectangular cavity of aspect ratio, A = 12, confining a Newtonian fluid (Pr = 7), is studied analytically and numericallyin the case where the horizontal walls, whose upper one is moving, are adiabatic, whereas those vertical are submitted to uniform density of flux. The obtained results show the validity of the parallel flow approximation and the considerable effect of the Richardson (0.1 ≤ Ri ≤ 105) and Reynolds (0.1 ≤ Re ≤ 10) numbers on the flow intensities and the heat transfer.
