The ash content increased with the BIO4 utilization in the coal blend and the F.S.I. (Free Swelling Index) not change significant. The participation in percentage up to 4.0 we didn’t observe significant effects in the Drum index, the same not happening with the reactivity that went up. In case of the coke medium size there were alteration when utilized 6.0% of the biomass BIO4 in the blend. The results of the coke quality obtained in the industrial tests are compatible with the results obtained in the pilot tests.
