(E)-Labda-8(17),12-diene-15,16-dial ( 4 ) and quercetin ( 5 ) exhibited potent inhibition, with IC 50 values of 3.18 ± 1.13 and 1.17 ± 0.13 μg/mL, respectively, against formyl-L-methionyl-L-leucyl-L-phenylalanine (fMLP)-induced superoxide anion (O 2 − ) generation.
