Mediastinal and Supraclavicular Lymphadenitis and Pneumonitis Due to Chlamydia trachomatis Serovars L1 and L2

THE spectrum of clinical manifestations of infection with the genital serovars of Chlamydia trachomatis (serovars D through K) includes nongonococcal urethritis, 1 urethral syndrome in women, 2 mucopurulent cervicitis, 3 epididymitis, 4 endometritis, 5 salpingitis, 6 inclusion conjunctivitis, 7 and pneumonia in newborn infants. 8 The lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) serovars L 1 , L 2 , and L 3 generally cause more severe disease than the genital serovars.
