The Expansion of a Nurse-led Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Team to a Vascular Resource Team to Insert Peripheral Intravenous Catheters

Implications The implementation of the peripherally inserted central catheter team to include peripheral intravenous insertion has reduced supply costs, decreased the number of attempts to gain intravenous access, and increased time to treatments for patient care.
