The author of the article reconstructs the list of artists belonging to the New York community and uses the occasion to bring us closer to the two most important representatives of the movement – Bill Plympton and Signe Baumane, whom he interviewed in Krakow, during the International Film Festival EtiudaAnima that took place in 2007 and 2015.
