Zusammenfassung: | An eco‐efficient one‐pot three component reaction for the synthesis of 3,5‐dispirosubstituted piperidines is reported by condensing of 2‐thiobarbituric acid, formaldehyde, and aromatic amines in the presence of a catalytic amount of p‐toluenesulfonic acid (1.0 equivalent) in dimethyl sulfoxide. The reactions were examined by two special methods such as classical heating and microwave (MW) irradiation. In general, improvements in rates and yields were observed when reactions were carried out under MW irradiation compared to the conventional method. |
