High PSR and CPI scores were recorded among partially edentulous patients in both groups. Microbiological tests did not show significant differences among both groups, with similar median average scores of periodontal bacterial load in AD and normal patients. Only one AD patient resulted positive to A. actinomycetemcomitans, main marker of PD. |
