ChemInform Abstract: Highly Diastereoselective Cobalt-Mediated C(sp3)-C(sp2) Cross-Coupling Reactions of Cyclic Halohydrins with (Hetero)Aryl Grignard Reagents

In addition to the transformation of O‐Tbs‐protected 2‐bromo and 2‐iodopentan‐1‐ols or the corresponding hexan‐1‐ols, respectively, the title reaction is also applied to a heterocyclic pyrrolidine‐derived iodohdydrin.
