LA PARODIA: MUÑOZ SECA, EDUARDO MENDOZA, WOODY ALLEN

This is a study which pursue analyze parody's mechanism from three artistic work: La venganza de don Mendo by Muñoz Seca, El asombroso viaje de Pomponio Flato by Eduardo Mendoza and Play it again, Sam by Herbert with Woody Allen's script. After summarize each one plot, the most important parodies elements are stand out, contents as well as form. This three particular works were chosen in order to reveal how parody works in different genres, including an artistic representation not strictly literary. This fact shows the reach of parody in the world of art. The bibliography we can find about this matter is reduced; although monographs relating to parody make reference to specific titles, the allusions are just simple examples. Because of that, in this analyze we resort to authors' bibliography; every time we could we made use of original sources, so our bibliographic references -just like allusions to analyzed film script- will be faithful to original language, not to interfere with authors' connotation. In short, this article set out an analysis of three texts keeping the characteristics which convert them into a parody in mind.
