Zusammenfassung: | Iranian youth voices the deep contradictions within which they live through their short stories. Using post-modern possibilities of cutting across time and space, they write their train of thought, not in an unhampered way, but within the legal boundaries of censorship, evoking even "aesthetics of censorship." Book stores are bulging with their stories, while they show their view of urban space with their lonely bodies, or within cars. Their sense of unease is apparent in the wounds they discuss and the nausea they are often experiencing. At times humor is present in their otherwise very morose works. |
