ChemInform Abstract: Copper(II)-Catalyzed C-O Coupling of Aryl Bromides with Aliphatic Diols: Synthesis of Ethers, Phenols, and Benzo-Fused Cyclic Ethers

Switching from aryl iodides (XII) to the corresponding aryl bromides affords the coupling products (XIV) in slightly lower yields.
