ChemInform Abstract: Preparation of LiPF6 Using ClF3 Below Room Temperature

LiPF6 is fabricated by mixing equimolar amounts of red phosphorus with LiF followed by adding a twofold amount of condensed ClF3 gas (Ni reactor, ‐196 → ‐20 to +100 °C, 1 or 5 h).
