Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Recruitment to Murine Lung During Paramyxoviral Infection is Type I Ifn Receptor Dependent
Plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC), which are identified by either the pDC specific antibody, PDCA-1, or high B220 and low level CD11c expression, are the major IFNalpha producing cells in the innate immune response and are thought to play a primary role in anti-viral defenses.
