Anaphylaxis to starch
An enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay for latex and skin tests with muscle relaxants and propofol were negative. Even though muscle relaxants and latex are the most common agents responsible for anaphylaxis during surgery, allergic reactions to other medications can occur.
