Zusammenfassung: | The effects of culture medium composition and light condition on tuber formation and callus formation were examined in the culture of embryos excised from Sandersonia seed. The growth of embryos was observed under hormone-free and dark conditions, and the formation of new small tubers from the embryo was promoted by hormone-free growth under light conditions. No callus formation from the embryo was observed under light conditions; however, callus formation from adventitious root tissue was observed under dark conditions on media containing NAA 0.1mgl(-1)+ BA 1.0mgl(-1) and NAA 0.1mgl(-1)+ BA 5.0mgl(-1). |
