Twelve pairs of enantiomers were analyzed by using 10% acetonitrile in 50 mM ammonium acetate as the eluent; eight pairs of them were separated on a γ-CD-bonded monolithic silica capillary column (450 × 0.100 mm i.d.). In all cases, the L-form eluted earlier than the D-form. The monolithic silica capillary columns could achieve better resolution than the particle-packed columns.
