Zusammenfassung:A mass spectrometer of 60°, 305mm radius, triple filament, surface ionization type was constructed the routine isotopic analysis of radioactive materials such as transuranium and fission product elements. The machine is basically a modification of the NBS-type mass spectrometer. Safety and easiness of maintenance and handling were improved by using the closed vacuum system with two ion pumps. Some results on the performance test are also described.
