Zusammenfassung:Three salicyloyl hydrazone derivatives (compounds 1-3) were prepared by reacting salicyloyl hydrazine with substituted formaldehydes. Their structures were characterized by melting point, 1H-NMR, ESI-MS and elemental analyses. The cytotoxic activity of compounds 1-3 was evaluated in vitro against Hela cells (human cervical cancer cells). The results revealed that all the compounds showed cytotoxic activity, with IC50 values lower than 15 μM.
