description Analyze the performance of a CDMA system by varying the system parameters. CDMA is a popular technology in cellular system due to its greater capacity and performance. To obtained better Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) using matched filter in conventional CDMA rake receiver is used. Rake receiver is one of the receiver technique, consists of multiple correlators, in which the receive signal is multiplied by timeshifted versions of a locally generated code sequence. To maximize the SNR and minimize the Bit Error Rate, the CDMA Rake receiver is used. The aim is to compare the receiver data in CDMA based with and without Rake receiver for different attenuation factor. One of the biggest drawbacks of wireless environment is the limited bandwidth. However, the users sharing this limited bandwidth have been increase considerably by using Direct Sequence Code Division Multiplexing technique that can enhance the capacity of communication system. A Fading Channel is known as communications channel which has to face different fading phenomenon's, during signal transmission.
