ChemInform Abstract: Stereoselective Synthesis of Carbohydrate-Derived N-Sulfonyl Aziridines

Iodomethyllithium reacts with carbohydrate‐derived N‐sulfinylimines such as (I) in a highly stereoselective manner through an addition/oxidation protocol to afford the corresponding N‐sulfonyl aziridine after oxidative work‐up.
