The article presents some of the analyses fuller developped in Müntzer contre Luther, le Droit divin contre l'absolutisme princier, Paris, A. Colin, 1984 (Müntzer versus Luther, God's Rights versus Prince's Absolutism). Its purpose is to emphasize the importance, at the beginning lutheran movement, of theological-political conflicts about biblicism and hermeneutic for various definitions of the significance and the status of History.As theese controversies involve the problem of Rights, divine, natural, positive and consequently the nature of their relations, they lead to raise the question if and how scripture's pattern might be or not relevant for history, sacred, secular, political and how far the legitimacy of prince's absolutism might be acknowledged or relativized by the final salvation of human mankind. From this last point of view, they will still nourish the German philosophy in the times of Enlightment. |
