ChemInform Abstract: Aerobic Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Benzyl Alcohols to Benzaldehydes by Using a Cyclometalated Ruthenium Catalyst

A Ru(III)‐complex bearing a phenylpyridine ligand is found to be an efficient catalyst for the aerobic oxidative dehydrogenation of benzyl alcohols to afford the corresponding aldehydes.
