ChemInform Abstract: Nanoporous Gold Catalyzed [4 + 2] Benzannulation Between ortho-Alkynylbenzaldehydes and Alkynes

A nanoporous gold material (pore size 25 nm) is prepared by selectively leaching of silver from an alloy foil (thickness 40 μm) consisting of 30 mol% Au and 70 mol% Ag in 70% aqueous HNO3.
