Chronic ethanol (EtOH) feeding induces subset loss and hypo-responsiveness in multiple skin T cell populations

Given the established roles for skin T cells in innate immunity and tissue repair, their deficiencies in EtOH fed mice may help explain why alcoholism is associated with both impaired skin immunity and wound healing.
