Zusammenfassung: | To precisely evaluate supercapacitor performance, a set of major parameters is considered which includes operating voltage, cell capacitance, equivalent series resistance, energy density, power density, and time constant. Numerous characterization techniques have been proposed and utilized to measure these parameters with high precision and accuracy. In order to address the electrochemical processes occurring at the supercapacitor electrodes (or devices) are measured and evaluated using diverse characterization techniques like cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge/discharge technique (GCD), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and modeling techniques. It is essential to study the electrode/electrolyte processes at the interface, as the major parameters of supercapacitors are dependent on these processes. |
