The Mass is the Church’s daily participation in Christ’s Sacrifice on the Cross for the life of the world. In the sacred liturgy, the faithful offer Christ’s body and blood to the Father as the victim who gave himself for us in his Passion, and from whom the river of life flows into the Church.
