Zusammenfassung: | A novel self-flux growth technique has been used to prepare superconducting single crystals with transition temperatures, Tc, ranging from 105 to 124 K in the Tl-Ca-Ba-Cu-O system. Measurements of the magnetic hysteresis and magnetic relaxation in Tl2Ba2CaCu2O8 crystals reveal extraordinary flux creep behavior that persists at low temperatures. These effects are attributed to the lack of effective pinning centers in these materials. |
