Application of corona resistant polyimide film to pump generator stator coils

Corona resistant high performance polyimide film insulation has been applied to the stator windings of a 69 MVA pump-generator. This paper describes the application of this film to wire production, 13 kV stator coil manufacturing and the QA tests applied.
