Zusammenfassung:The so-called ''fan'' instability of the strahl electron distribution as well as of the plateau-like distribution of the solar burst electrons formed due to excitation of Langmuir waves is discussed. It is shown that this instability can be an effective mechanism of the pitch angle diffusion of these populations of electrons in the solar wind.
