Zusammenfassung: | This book studies the Faculty of Law at the University of Madrid on the basis of the minutes of its faculty board, a complete transcription of which is included. Chronologically, it is not limited to the period of the Dictatorship of Primo de Rivera (1923-1930), but extends to the proclamation of the Second Republic in April 1931. It includes an introductory study on university policy during the Dictatorship, the organisation of the Faculty of Law and the organisation of legal studies (degree and doctorate). It also includes a selection of topics of interest that are dealt with by the faculty board in its minutes. This period corresponds to the presence in that Faculty of a magnificent group of teachers of the different specialities of law, under the direction of the dean Rafael de Ureña. These minutes are an eyewitness account of valuable debates on the science of law and on the Spanish university of those years. |
