Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism에 의한 Bacillus anthracis의 분자분류 및 동정
We evaluated genomic fingerprinting procedure based on amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) to investigate genetic relatedness and it's application with seventeen strains of Bacillus anthracis and closely related species. On the basis of AFLP fingerprints, all tested strains of B. anth...

description | We evaluated genomic fingerprinting procedure based on amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) to investigate genetic relatedness and it's application with seventeen strains of Bacillus anthracis and closely related species. On the basis of AFLP fingerprints, all tested strains of B. anthracis were nearly identical, clustering together at a Jaccard similarity coefficient of 92% (cophenetic value, 0.9689), and could be divided into 6 different closely related species. Therefore, AFLP genomic fingerprinting techniques could be used as rapid, reliable, reproducible and highly discriminatory screening techniques to determine the taxonomic diversity and phylogenetic structure of B. anthracis populations. |
