In addition to the possible clinical relevance of neuropsychological improvement following GH replacement in patients with GHD, the observed findings may be of interest for studies in neurocognitive performance in other conditions associated with changes in the activity of the somatotrophic axis, and in the understanding of underlying pathophysiological mechanisms. |
