Integrated Solution for National-Scale Flood Mitigation Strategy: Four Major Rivers Restoration Project in Korea

Korea's strong economic growth has been accomplished by widespread damage to its major rivers including pollution, sediment, and a decline in ecological diversity. The Four Rivers Project aims to restore natural river functions that have been distrupted or disturbed by natural or industrial activities. This article focuses on the flood mitigation component of the project.
