Human GOT M Phenotypes in Western Germany (Düsseldorf Region)

The polymorphism of human mitochondrial glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOTM) was determined by starch gel electrophoresis on samples of blood cells of 310 unrelated individuals from Western Germany. The following gene frequencies were observed: GOTM¹ 0.9774 and GOTM² 0.0226.
