Zusammenfassung:Farm work is one of the most dangerous occupations in the United States (NIOSH 2014). Agricultural workers are at high risk of fatal and nonfatal injuries, lung diseases, hearing loss, skin diseases, and cancers associated with chemical use and prolonged sun exposure (Kirkhorn and Schenker 2002). Mexican migrant farmworkers, in particular, often work in subpar and oppressive conditions characterized by the lack of drinking water and inadequate waste facilities in the fields (US Department of Labor 2005), and their employment terms may be tantamount to enslavement. Various characteristics of the migratory lifestyle have been identified as major stressors in the
