Zusammenfassung: | Summary form only given. During the late 1990s, Bessel (nondiffracting) light beams have been under extensive consideration. An unapertured Bessel beam does not diffract in the case of free propagation. The spatially limited (apertured) Bessel beam is characterized by a suppressed diffraction of the central part of the beam. The nonlinear optics of Bessel J/sub 0/ beams has received growing interest in recent years. The important features of the angular spectrum of SH radiation generated by J/sub 0/ beam in nonlinear crystals have been previously discussed. The nonlinear optical interactions may provide an efficient way for vortex transformation. The second harmonic (SH) and sum-frequency generation of waves with Laguerre-Gaussian vortices were previously studied. In this paper, the results of comprehensive investigation of angular distribution of SH radiation generated by Bessel J/sub 1/, J/sub 2/, J/sub 3/ beam (Bessel vortices) in KTiOPO/sub 4/ crystal are presented. |
