The Effect Of 3rd Order Intermodulation Distortion On Qam Digital Set-top-box In Cable Tv Systems

Composite-triple-beat (CTB) distortion in cable TV systems, which degrades the BER performance of digital modulation signal, is discussed. The amplitude probability distribution and its effect on the QAM signal are evaluated through computer simulation.
