description E-ticket plays an important role in mobile commerce because it reduce the production and distribution costs compared with traditional paper-based ticketing channels, and increase customer convenience by providing new and simple ways to purchase tickets. Off-line authentication gains the popularity comparing to the on-line authentication mechanism due to the short transaction time, however, some security issues remain. In this paper an NFC e-tickets system is designed with the over-the-air (OTA) ticket provisioning and off-line authentication functions. Security issues in the off-line authentication are solved by the proposed mechanism, and a prototype is implemented with the NFC Bluetooth dongle.
