description | This paper proposes advanced service models to enhance the QoE (quality-of-experience) of users in the mobile broadcasting communication system. The temporary out-of-service due to communication error and the long delay for channel switching are considered as most significant problems in the broadcasting system. To resolve these problems, this paper suggests four service models. Three of them are to deal with the out-of-service due to communication errors and the rest one is to reduce the channel switching delay. The PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) value of transmitted data is compared to evaluate the performance of the proposed models. The simulation results show that our service models can remove a lot of service error situations and reduce the channel switching delay remarkably. |
