Dual-band microstrip antenna for GSM applications

Design of a simple dual-band GSM 900/1800 microstrip patch antenna with single feeding is presented. The dual resonance was obtained by cutting a narrow slot in the patch near the radiating edge which influenced the patch modal currents. Similar radiation characteristics in both bands were observed....
