Zusammenfassung: | An all-optical wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) to optical time-division-multiplexing (OTDM) conversion is described. The scheme is based on a Raman amplification-based multiwavelength pulse compressor and fiber-based cross phase modulation switch. In this letter, we experimentally demonstrate the conversion from 4 \,\times\, 10-Gb/s WDM channels to one 40-Gb/s OTDM channel with the power penalties of less than 2 dB. |
