Fabrication of Cr-doped fibers using powder-in-tube with redrawing technique

The CDFs employing drawing-tower integrated non-silica powder-in-tube with redrawing technique is proposed. A reduction of transmission loss of 0.27 dB/cm at 1550-nm and a core non-circularity of less than 3% for the CDFs are achieved.
