The wind turbine simulator is composed of squirrel-cage induction motor (SCIM), converter ACS800, data acquisition card PCI-1710 and wind turbine model based on real time workshop of matlab/simulink. The experimental results show that STATCOM can mitigate voltage fluctuation and improve power quality of wind turbine with SCIG. |
