Research on instrument timbre characteristics for music emotional expression

Timbre is a major factor that affect music emotional expression. This paper obtains the musical signal spectrum by using Short-time Fourier transform. Then contact the timbre characteristics of music signal with music emotional expression though the spectrum analysis.
